Mrs. Serna Recognized with Proclamation from County Council, by Mila B. and Sofija N.

On December 3rd, Mrs Serna earned a Proclamation by the City Council awarding her for her commitment to Outdoor Environmental Education (aka OEE).

At the OEE chaperone appreciation night, Mrs. Serna was surprised to get the award by a chaperone who works with the MoCo City Council, Ms. Tenenbaum.

Mrs. Serna has been involved in planning our Outdoor Ed days for 9 years now. She has attended each time as well as probably losing her voice.

We are thankful for Mrs. Serna and all her work on OEE planning. She has also been a really good history teacher too! The students attending OEE Session 1 this year were very lucky to be able to celebrate Mrs. Serna’s birthday with her! JW is grateful for all Mrs. Serna does.
