Mr. Staton's Surprise Birthday Interview by Calvin C., Nia S., & Tasneem K.

Last Friday, we had a surprise interview with Mr. Staton in the hallway on his birthday (October 4th). Here’s how it went:

How old are you today? 

Can’t say… How about over 50?

How do you plan to celebrate your birthday?

I’m going to celebrate by going to the National Zoo and by spending the day in D.C..

What is your favorite cake flavor? 

Vanilla.

Today you are older than yesterday. Feel any wiser?

Nope, I just feel more tired. Besides, age is just a number, it doesn’t matter much.

What other wisdom do you have to share with us?

Always have a smile on your face.
