On Wednesday, January 15th, the JW Boys Basketball team faced off against Cabin John Middle School.
The game started strong, with the Jaguars scoring the first basket and a three-pointer soon after. 8th grader Eelai, jersey #3, delivered an especially impressive performance, scoring 19 points throughout the game. The JW poms and step team performed at halftime.
Mr. Brutus, JWMS PE teacher and coach, said of the team’s performance, “I’m just proud of the adversity they faced and the hard work they put in, and they came out victorious.”
The final score was 44 to 36.
